Sciencewise-ERC Webcast

The first Sciencewise-ERC webcast is coming in November 2008

A webcast is an interactive online event. It enables many people to interact via a standard internet connection to share knowledge and opinions, stimulate debate, gauge opinions and communicate policy.

Through the use of a webcasting the Sciencewise-ERC will host online events with live interactive presentations, debates, Q&A and polling accessed via the website.

The simplicity of this technology allows engagement with a much wider audience by enabling participants to log in and access the event from the office or home taking part in the webcast from wherever they are. This saves the travel time and cost usually involved in attending an event. With this tool the events are accessible across the UK (and internationally) alleviating the restrictions of participants busy diaries.

The first Sciencewise-ERC Webcast is coming up in November 2008 and we are currently considering topics to be included in the webcast. If you have any suggestions of topics for presentations please be in contact with the Sciencewise-ERC team.
