Steering Group
The Sciencewise-ERC is overseen by a Government Steering Group, which will provide strategic guidance and direction to the centre.
The Steering Group is chaired by Kathy Sykes, Professor of Science and Society at Bristol University, who previously led the Sciencewise Strategy Group and Panel.
The group will be co-chaired by Stephen Axford, head of the Science & Society team at DIUS, which funds the Sciencewise-ERC.
Members of the Group represent other Government departments, which have a remit in developing public engagement, external stakeholders involved in dialogue and a number of individual dialogue experts as well as media and charity representatives.
