Sciencewise training provides potential lead to new dialogue project
Sciencewise completed two more training sessions in March 2016, one of which has the potential to lead to a new dialogue project:
• 4 March 2016. Sciencewise provided a two-hour session within a three-day residential Policy School training session for the Department of Health. There was feedback from 23 of the participants with 5 scoring the session 5 out of 5; 17 scoring 4/5 and 1 scoring it 3/5. All respondents said they would recommend the Sciencewise session to others.
• 16 March 2016. Sciencewise provided a three-hour / half-day training session on public dialogue for 10 staff at the Food Standards Agency. The first half of the session was an introduction to public dialogue, and considered the recent FSA Our Food Future dialogue project as a case study. The second half of the training session focussed on working with the FSA to think through the potential for a new public dialogue project on a possible new approach to regulation and the potential for participants to feed into a set of consumer principles to inform that work.
