International impacts and connections in India, Germany and the European Union

India

At the request of the Government UK Trade and Industry (UKTI), a presentation was given on 5 November 2014 by Roland Jackson to an Indian delegation visiting the Innovate UK conference.

Germany

Professor Ortwin Renn, Professor of Environmental Sociology and Technology Assessment at the University of Stuttgart, is an active member of the Oversight Group for the independent Sciencewise evaluation (August 2014 - March 2015).

European Union

Shan Morgan, the UK's Deputy Permanent Representative to the EU, gave a short speech on science and society at the EU Competitive Council in first week of December 2014, and extolled the virtues of Sciencewise and the Science Media Centre. At the meeting, the Dutch also expressed an interest in the way Sciencewise works.
